The global tango tribe unites

On June 20, 2015 dancers from around the world danced together to the same music, at the same time, for a greener and better world.

A 24- hour simultaneous global tango dance action to support tree planting and reforestation around the world, initiated by Pramení’s Tango Alchemie in Prague in cooperation with our partner Tango Mercurio in Washington DC.

The event was centered in Prague. DJs from Tokyo, Auckland, Moscow, Istanbul, Buffalo, LA and Mexico City played to an online, universal feed across time zones for dancers around the world, all in a benefit event based on “Tangos for Trees”.
